Notes

Affirmations are Connection Techniques designed to initiate, strengthen, and purify connection.

An Affirmation of Self is the equivalent of a disinfectant swab. It's not going to help much with deeper wounds.

Example

The LP Affirmation of Self

I am powerful. I am healthy. I am beautiful. I am strong.
I am worthy. I am connected. I am beautiful. I am strong.

I am worthy. I am connected. I am beautiful. I am strong.

Ideally, do this on long nature walks, while meditating quietly with music and candles, or in a hot bath with a relaxing glass of chamomile tea.

When to Use

  1. prophylactically, on nature walks, before meditation, or whenever you are in a somewhat connected state.
  2. when you are injured (i.e., when somebody engages in a psychological, emotional, or spiritual assault).
  3. when you are “triggered” or when you mind is “spiralling” out of control and you are drowning in toxic thought.
