Dhikr is an Islamic Connection Technique. Dhikr, also spelled Zikr, refers to the practice of "remembrance" or "recollection," specifically the remembrance of Allah (God). This is often done through verbal or mental repetition of certain Islamic affirmations (phrases or prayers), such as "Subhan Allah" (Glory be to Allah), "Alhamdulillah" (Praise be to Allah), or "Allahu Akbar" (Allah is Great).

Notes
Dhikr is considered a devotional act that enhances spirituality, purifies the heart, and brings tranquility to the mind. It can be practiced in any context: silently or aloud, in a group or individually, during formal prayer or throughout one's daily activities.
Some Sufi orders (mystical branches of Islam) put a great emphasis on Dhikr and have developed specific rituals around it, which can include rhythmic repetitions or chants, physical movements, or meditative practices. These are meant to foster a deeper, more direct experience of the divine presence.
In addition to this, Dhikr is also seen as a means of expressing gratitude to Allah, seeking His forgiveness, and inviting His guidance and blessings. It's a way of maintaining a constant awareness of Allah in one's life.
