The Song of Creation (a.k.a. The Song) is the Lightning Path creation story. It is a New Energy story conveyed as an epic poem of cosmic purpose, adventure, and discovery.
Notes
The Song was, fittingly, the first book by Michael S..
The Song is a New Energy creation story with New Energy Archetypes. The Song portrays creation as a descending vibratory emanation of God, which passes through four stages on its way to the hard material existence of extant physical creation.
The Song is unique amongst extant creation stories in that it does not portray creation as a struggle between good and evil, nor does it portray creation as controlled by a central authority figure (or figures), Superhumans, or others who test, judges, and punishes. Rather, The Song portrays creation as an egalitarian, non-hierarchical and collective Great Work which we all participate in as equals, but with different skills.
The Great Work is illustrated in the TOSAS Graduation and World archetypes.
The descending vibratory emanation of creation is illustrated in the TOSAS Lightworker card.
In the book Cosmic Memory, Rudolph Steiner describes "The Hyperborean and the Polarean Epoch." These resemble the high vibratory states identified in the four phases of The Song
