Notes
You can become "attached" to any person. Any person that meets a need, provides you joy or pleasure, whose presence reduces your pain, who provides escape and release, or who triggers the release of “feel good” chemicals in the brain can easily become an attachment.
Relationships attachments are not usually bad. In fact, we all need relationships to meet our Essential Needs. Relationship attachment can, and often do, turn into Toxic Attachments.
