Essential Needs

Essential Needs are needs that must be sufficiently satisfied if the Physical Unit is to mature, stay healthy, and maintain Growth Mode so it can finally realize its Full Potential.

Abraham Maslow, in his seminal 1943 articles on human needs,[1] Maslow suggested we had several essential needs which needed to be satisfied if the individual was going to grow up healthy and strong. At the time he organized these needs into two separate hierarchies, a Hierarchy of Basic Needs and a Hierarchy of Cognitive Needs.

For reasons outlined elsewhere,[2] Maslow's theory of needs remained not only incomplete, but colonized.

The LP theorizes that humans have Seven Essential Needs.
