Temptation is anything that turns the Physical Unit away from proper Alignment, which in turn causes Disjuncture which makes Connection even more difficult.[1]

People give in to temptation not because they are evil but because they are needy, sick, and unconscious. People give into temptation in an effort to fulfill unmet needs, soothe damaged wounds, distract themselves from difficult realities, and for other pathological reasons. Note, often, predators exploit temptation in order to gain control of an individual physical unit.
