Dullness

Dullness John Richards translation of the Sanskrit word tamas (तमस्), used in the Crest Jewel of Wisdom to indicate Normal Consciousness[1]

Syncretic Terms

Notes

तमस् is literally translated as mental darkness, illusion, darkness, ignorance, darkness of hell(!). Thus, dullness is perhaps not the best word here..
