The Generic Apocalyptic Narrative' is an Eschatological Discourse "about the events that will lead up to the days."[1]. This narrative includes "a sense of history as a divinely predetermined totality, a sense of pessimism about the present and the conviction of imminent crisis, and a belief in the judgment of evil and the triumph of good."[2]
