A Type-A Haze is a form of Disconnection Pathology. It is the cognitive and emotional fog that arises from the relentless and disconnecting focus on performance, productivity, and achievement characteristic of the Type-A personality. It manifests as a mental state marked by chronic stress, diminished emotional clarity, and disconnection from deeper personal, relational, and Spiritual Needs. This haze can obscure an individual’s ability to develop and maintain Alignment and Connection and undermine an individual's ability to make meaningful social and familial connections. It can also undermine self-awareness and lead to chronic neglect of the Seven Essential Needs, leaving them trapped in a 5D Cycle of overachievement and burnout.

Notes

Type-A Haze results from internalizing external pressures to perform and succeed, leading to overactivation of the nervous system and an unbalanced mental state. This condition is exacerbated by cultural and economic systems that prioritize achievement, competition, and economic productivity over holistic health and well-being. Breaking free from this haze involves grounding oneself in more balanced perspectives, addressing unmet emotional and psychological needs, and reconnecting with one’s authentic self.
