An Artificial Pack is any group of animals that do not have a biological interrelationship.
Notes
In wolf society, an Artificial Pack is a group of biologically disconnected wolves brought together artificially, either for the purpose of study, or as a way to lubricate the transition back into nature.[1]
In human society, artificial packs include friend groups, cultural groups, political groups, and so on.
Artificial packs become necessary when the primary pack, the biological one is dysfunctional or missing.
In humans, the destruction of a biological pact via the process of Toxic Socialization allows the individual human to be more easily forced into other artificial pacts.
Consider that the modern educational system and the modern nuclear family were both created during the Industrial Revolution at a time when The System required "free" and mobile labour.
