Detachment
List of Connection Practices
Notes
Detachment is, of course, recommended by Gautama as a requirement of spiritual advancement.
Detachment from worldly things, from drama, from toxic individuals, is a recognized requirement of Connection within the Christian mystical traditions.[1] The point of entering into a monastery is to support detachment from the obstacles which hinder spiritual progress.
