Behavioural Attachment
A Behavioural Attachment (a.k.a. Behavioural Addiction) is an attachment to behaviours, like running, shopping, sex, picking, and cutting, that meet some need, provides some pleasure, or offers some relief from the pain and suffering of this world.

Notes
You can become "attached" to any behaviour. Any behaviour that causes pleasure, reduces pain (in any of its forms), provides escape and release, or triggers the release of “feel good” chemicals in the brain can easily become an attachment.
Attachments are not necessarily bad. In fact, they can be healthy. An attachment to jogging can help keep you healthy and informed. However, normal attachments can, and often do, turn into Toxic Attachments
