Social Class Ideology is ideology used to justify and excuse the abuse and exploitation of humans based on their position in a venal economic, political, or social class hierarchy.

Social Class ideology, like all ideologies, has a religious and a scientific expression. Religious expressions are rooted in religious Dogma. Scientific expressions are ostensibly rooted in "empirical" evidence, but its really just dogma painted over with glitter.

Social class ideologies rooted in religious dogma justify and excuse the exploitation and abuse of humans of "lower standing" by emphasizing divine prerogative. Thus kings are kings, knights are knights, and peasants work the field because its a reflection of the divine order of things. Kings are chosen as God's representative on Earth, and peasants should simply do God's will.

Social class ideologies rooted in scientific dogma justify and excuse the exploitation and abuse of humans by referring to genetic fitness. Thus the working class are capable and fit only for factory life, while the ruling class are capable and fit for authority, power, and control. When asked why this is, social class ideologies rooted in scientific dogma refer us to Darwinian theory, notions of "natural evolution", and ideas of competition and competitive fitness.
