The Big Book[1] is the Alcoholics Anonymous bible. It is a set of instructions, personal stories and anecdotes, and heartfelt advice to help alcoholics have authentic and powerful spiritual experiences (what on the LP we call Connection Experiences) capable of healing the trauma, filling unmet needs, and curing them of intractable alcohol addiction. In LP terms, the Big Book is a healing and connection manual.

Notes

Students of the LP will note many significant parallels between the advice provided in the Big Book on honesty (i.e. not Lying), acknowledging misalignment and disjuncture, making amends (i.e. Atonement, being an active change agent (Activation)), and guidance provided in LP Book One, which discusses the LP HEALING Framework, and LP Workbook Two, which discusses the LP Connection Framework.
