The Problem of Ennui, the problem of what to do with yourself when you are immortal, as Spirit, is, is the primary and only creative conundrum that exists. That is, the only thing Immortal Spirit ever worries about is what to do next and how to alleviate the crunching boredom that inevitably attends immortality. The problem of ennui is discussed in detail in the The Book of Light.
