Judgment is an Old Energy Archetype that emphasizes a cosmic battle between good and evil, and humanity's choice, resolved on "Judgment Day," between the two. The archetype has its origins in ancient Zoroasterian teachings, [1] but has penetrated into all traditional spiritual systemms, and even finds its way into popular culture (e.g., Star Wards).
Notes
The day of judgment "is a day on which Almighty God will judge His creatures according to their actions done in this life."[2]
Lots of passages in the Qu'ran referring, in a rather judgmental way to the day of Judgment.
Judgment is an Old Energy Masonic Archetype used to suggest the spiritual/legal/cosmic significance of judgment. In the [Old Energy]] mythology of The System, we are all subject to some form of cosmic/Darwinian judgment where the worthy are winnowed and the unworthy are discarded/confined/punished. Judgment is a key pinion in the archetypal architecture of The System.
The Old Energy judgment card is replaced, in the New Energy Halo/Sharp Archetypes, by The Calling.
