According to Robert Forman, a Pure Consciousness Event a state of consciousness whereby the individual is awake and conscious, "but without an object or content for consciousness -- no thoughts, emotions, sensations, or awareness of any external phenomenon. There is an utter blank. There is not even the thought that 'I am experiencing X'..."[1]
