Notes

Grof proposes several layers or dimensions, transpersonal, archetypal/mythological/, ancestral, prenatal, perinatal (a few weeks before and after birth), childhood/biographical. [1][2]

Later, in a discussion of the cartography of the human, Grof notes a model of the psyche that contains four "realms," the biographical, perinatal, and transpersonal domains. [3]
