The Crest-Jewel of Wisdom (a.k.a. Vivekachudamani (Sanskrit: विवेकचूडामणि) is Connection Manual within the Advaita Vedanta tradition[1]. It is traditionally attributed to Adi Shankara of the eighth century CE, but modern scholars view this attribution as likely erroneous.
Notes
Two versions exist online, a Theosophical one translated by Charles Johnston[2] and a translation by John Richards[3] Richard's translation is, by far, the more accurate and grounded translation.
Literally translated, Vivikachudamani means Crest Jewel of Wisdom/judgment/distinction/prudence/right judgment/true knowledge/investigation [1].
