The Tree of Life is a visual metaphor introduced in by Michael Sharp (2006) to provide a map to the basic levels of Consciousness. In this representation the tip of the leaf represents Bodily Consciousness, the leaf itself represents Monadic Consciousness, the leaves on the twigs represent Local Consciousness, the branches, twigs, leaves, and tips represent Collective Consciousness, the trunk, twigs, leaves, and tips represents Christ Consciousness, and the Earth from which all trees emerge represents God Consciousness (or just God for short).
The Tree of Consciousness represents the Levels of Consciousness. Compare The Tree of Consciousness with the Tree of Lights which emphasizes the monadic nature of the tree and the Tree of Life which emphasizes the Unfolding / Emanation of Consciousness / Creation.
