Collective Consciousness is an term used to refer to the aggregate of collectively accepted Archetypes and ideas that are contained in the consciousness of groups, communities, nations, or even entire planets. The archetype of Good versus Evil, for example, is one of the Planetary Archetype that inhabit the planetary level of the collective consciousness. Almost every single human on planet Earth believes in the reality and significance of Good and Evil.
It is possible to unpack and examine the collective consciousness of a community, nation, or planet by extracting and examining the archetypes and ideas contained in the consciousness of the members of a specific community.
