Healthy fully functioning physical unit

Hi Michael, I think this part needs more explanation regarding physical disabilities. Are you saying all birth defects are accidental trauma? What about genetic abnormalities? And you say, ideally one wants a fully functioning PU....I don't think that is always true. I imagine that some souls want an experience of life that is different from ideal and may accept a disability like physical blindness, hearing impairment, cerebral palsy etc. When these kinds of impairments occur, the body's systems are remarkably resilient and compensations and substitutions occur, there is much experience to be gained when living a life with physical impairments. I really feel that experience, and God's desire for experience trumps any " ideal" we have.

Functions

Consider the following as ideas for the functions of the PU:

Interface

The PU provides the interface. Everything that Spirit incarnates in provides modes of perception and expression. Be it an animal, a tree or crystals. Spirit needs an interface which translates information. As a tentative suggestion one might state that the physical part of the PU translates quantitative information/experience (from the incarnated perspective) into qualitative information (disincarnated perspective). If you think about it, the world we live in seems to be cognitively appraisable, which means that it is commensurable. Think of sound or light. Both are major methods we apprehend this universe with. Both may be theorized into a numeric, commensurable way. Light is comprised of waves with a certain wave-lenght. Depending how long that wavelenght is, the color varies. Sound works analogously. Nonetheless, we experience light and sound in a qualitative way. The reason seems to be that the "thing" that experiences is ultimately the soul. And souls experience things qualitatively, since there is no linear space and time in the disincarnated realm, which is an absolute necessity for quantitative apprehension.

Since the PU seems to be comprised of several "sockets"/bodies (i.e. mental, emotional, physical body) it is able to apprehend genuinely non quantitative (=qualitative) information as well. Emotions for instance. Let's pressupose that physical matter is made out of extreemly rarified [Ain], and that emotions are made of a slightly more dense Ain, and thoughts of an even more dense Ain,

we must discern between the structural fabric of the universe and our perception of it.

Our perception of it tends to tip towards quality on the physical end of things, and tends to lack that atribute on the thought end of the spectrum. (Ain-density-spectrum) Thoughts usually don't have any qualitative distinction - unless morally infused, which means that the thoughts are emotionally associated. (Please note that thoughts DO HAVE a so called "signature" which is a purely qualitative information that any PU may feel. The PU is such a complex device and it operates on several levels, which makes it quite difficult to pin down certain aspects of it without seemingly contradicting oneself.) Emotions do provide qualitative distinction as well as quantitative distinction, just as physical matter does. It is astonishing to observe that physical matter is perceived qualitatively as much as it is, as can be seen in the following examples representing qualities (and quantities as well): Heat, friction, pressure, Light, Sound, Smell, taste, etc.

The structural fabric seems to be composed in the following way: Physical matter seems to be created from quantitative relata. These quantitative relata are being translated into qualitative experiences as observed by the PU. Since it was pressuposed that emotions and thoughts are comprised of nothing but a more dense "matter", one could conclude that emotions are less "sharp", more qualitative

- The PU has to be able to comprise higher consciousness. Furthermore, a bridge between the PU and the RMC need to be firmly establishable.
