The Unwanted Self represents the personality traits, characteristics, and actions that an individual Bodily Ego perceives as undesirable.[1] Traits may be perceived as undesirable by the individual bodily ego either because they are disjunctive and cause the invocation of painful Steering Emotions, or because an individual who has these traits, e.g., homosexuality, has experienced censure and assault as a consequence of their expression.
