As explained in The Book of Life: Ascension and the Divine World Order, and Implant is any idea, archetype, or ideology that is inserted (i.e. implanted) in your brain by Agents of Socialization either when you were a) too young to be aware of the process, b) too weak to defend yourself against it or c) for some reason (the promise of honor, money, sex, etc.) willing participant in the process.
Implants may including Steering Ideas and Blocking Ideas.

Note, implants (i.e. ideas/archetypes) are not necessarily bad. The question to ask is, a) what is the purpose of the implant, and b) to what ends is it being used.
