Space Time Tube from The Book of Life

The Edge of Time refers to the forward edge of creation beyond which nothing physical exists. The edge of time is illustrated in the accompanying diagram by the topmost edge of the space-time tube.

Note that the forward edge is not necessarily equivalent to present time. Present time is a solipsistic experience of temporal location. When we are incarnated and aware we are "present" no matter where we happen to be in the space-time tube. Forward time is only equivalent to present time when we are incarnated in a physical body actually at the forward edge.
