Primary Relationships
Primary Relationships (a.k.a. primary attachments) are the relationships you have with the individuals closest to you. As children our primary attachments are with our parents. As adults, our primary relationship(s) are typically with our adult intimate partners.
The quality and health of primary relationships are critical for it is within our primary relationships, and only within our primary relationships, that our deep psychological, emotional, sexual, and physical needs for for positive regard, support, and connection can be met. If the relationships are unhealthy, or of the nature and function of the relationships are determined by the dictates of System Socialization, then your needs are undermined and your physical unit experiences energetic damage as a result.
