Spiritual Bypassing
Spiritual Bypassing is a form of Connection Blockage. Spiritual bypassing occurs when an individual uses things, like “spiritual” crystals), ideas (like peace, love, bliss, the ten commandments, etc.), actions (working all the time, exercising all the time, volunteering), and even places (Facebook, the local bar) to avoid confronting challenges and dealing with difficult issues, blockages, sins, and wounds.

People involved in spiritual bypassing know all the right symbols, use all the right words, and decorate their homes with all the right products, but they do so as a form of presentation and avoidance, using products to prove to themselves and others they are "advanced/old souls," thereby avoiding the more serious jobs of healing, alignment, awakening, activation, and so on.
Spiritual bypassing is rooted in some anxiety, fear, or threat. The anxiety, fear, or threat can psychological, emotional, physical, or even spiritual (you are going to burn in hell for doing the wrong thing). It can also be real (i.e. if a Christian picks up a tarot deck they may be ostracized from their community) or imagined (God is going to punish you for thinking certain things). Anxiety/fear/threat caused the Bodily Ego to find ways to avoid/bypass threatening material.
