Life Tests

Life Tests are contrived tests of spiritual authenticity that divert attention from spiritual inadequacy by focusing attention directly on the participant. Life tests essentially make all events in life, even the very bad ones, successful indicators of authentic spirituality. Life Tests are invoked, when a religion, priest, guru, or prophet says that life is a series of tests and that you have to accept the tests so you can grow, graduate, and move on.[1]

Notes
