Innocence

From The SpiritWiki

First defined in The Book of the Triumph of Spirit Master Key, Spiritual Innocence or simply Innocence refers to a state of being that existed before monads incarnated into physicality to accomplish the Ascension of the physical universe. It is a time before the Sacrifice was made. An innocent state of being is characterized by loving acceptance, trust, and joyful mastery.

Innocence is undermined by the painful, selfish, and blindfolded experience of life on this earth, an experience that all of us have had to endure many times. Negative experiences impact the physical unit, undermining acceptance and trust and introducing fear, anxiety, debility, and defensive psychological structures. This "hardening of the interface" may be conceptualized as the loss of innocence. This loss of innocence impacts the physical unit, and becomes coded into the genetic structures of the physical unit, thus complicating the "return to innocence" (i.e. the healing and repair process).

Although the loss of innocence primarily effects the psychological and emotional condition of the physical unit, the negative experiences of life bleed through and impact consciousness (i.e. "the soul") as well. It should be noted that the impact on consciousness is, while painful and significant, not sufficient to cause hardening, disconnection, or even "evil" states of existence. By definition consciousness can never be disconnected from The Fabric of Consciousness and therefore never loses its identity, never forgets itself, is never without support, and is never enabled in pathology or dysfunction. Therefore the pathological disconnection and hardening that he physical unit experiences is impossible in the realm of consciousness and connection.
