Purpose of Psychology

It is the task of psychology to understand the basic and cognitive needs of the physical unit, to provide the individual, governments, and society guidance on proper fulfillment of these needs (i.e. how best to meet these needs), and to research the trauma, neurosis and psychosis that arises when needs are thwarted and provide healing solutions to help individuals and societies overcome the trauma, neurosis, and psychosis of thwarted human needs.
