A relationship is a connection between monads.

Several different types of relationships can exist. Relationships can be be monopolar (i.e. between two separate individual monads), dyadic (i.e. between between two or more individuals. You and I have a relationship (a connection) through this page, just as you have a relationship (i.e. a connection) with your parents, your siblings, and your friends. Note that relationships don’t have to be between just two individuals. You and your spouse (a dyad), taken together as “we”, may have a relationship to some other married couple. In this case, “we” have a relationship with “them”. You may also have a group relationship with the group of people you work with.
