Suffering

Suffering is what the Physical Unit experiences when under conditions of severe and/or chronic distress.

Suffering may be categorized as physical, emotional, and psychological. Suffering may also be categorized as acute or chronic.

Acute suffering is suffering that occurs in response to short term misalignment.

Chronic suffering is suffering that occurs in response to experiences of long term misalignment.

Chronic suffering leads eventually to, and inevitably, to disease.
