Archetypal Resilience refers to the tendency for archetypes to become absorbed, elevated, and solidified in consciousness. Archetypal resilience emerges as a result of the nature of meaning in consciousness. Consciousness creates, writes, and subsequently perceives meaning. Because consciousness is sacred, and because meaning is a fundamental creation of consciousness, consciousness naturally gives great significance (even a sacred character) to meaning. That is, consciousness gives meaning, and meaning is given natural prominence in the "higher" areas of consciousness as a result. The prominence and sacred quality of meaning translates to archetypal resilience. Once a meaning is established in consciousness, it takes an open mind, and a considerable amount of effort, to revise or rewrite that meaning.
