Active Suffering

Active Suffering is suffering that occurs as the result of the actions of another person. Active suffering includes things like physical abuse, emotional abuse, intellectual abuse, poverty and hunger (poverty is always imposed by extractive economies of this world). Active Suffering may be contrasted with Passive Suffering
