Temptation

Temptation is anything that turns the Physical Unit away from Right Action, Right Thought, and Right Environment. Temptation is anything that turns the physical unit away from connection. Temptation is anything that interferes with alignment or that causes disjuncture. Temptation is anything that, if given in to, would interfere with the Alignment of the Physical Unit with its Resident Monadic Consciousness.

People give in to temptation not because they are evil but because they are needy, sick, and unconscious. People give into temptation in an effort to fulfill unmet needs, soothe damaged wounds, distract themselves from difficult realities, and for other pathological reasons. Note, often, predators exploit temptation in order to gain control of an individual physical unit.
