Scientism

Scientism is the irrational belief that Science in general, and in particular the Scientific Method, is the "only valid way to knowledge" (Ecklund, 2011; 137). Those infected with the disease of scientism also believe that science is the only lens capable of properly interpreting other forms of knowledge.

Scientism is a form of Intellectual Imperialism.
