[[Disconnection]]: This stage marks the severing of the individual's connection from their Spiritual Ego—the core aspect of themselves that provides higher awareness and purpose. Disconnection, which typically occurs during childhood as a consequence of [[Toxic Socialization]], leaves people feeling empty, lost, or without direction.

The 5Ds of Toxic Existence are five progressive stages of harm that arise when an individual’s Seven Essential Needs are systematically neglected or violated as a consequence of Toxic Socialization. These stages — Diminishment, Disconnection, Dysfunction, Disease, and premature Death, describe how unresolved deprivation and toxic socialization progressively degrade human health, psychological integrity, relational capacity, and connection with the Fabric of Consciousness. .
