Mechanisms of Force
According to Ruyle,[1], the Mechanisms of Force are the violent means used by the Ruling Class to physically coerce an exploited population, when necessary. Mechanisms of force are one of three factors (the others being the Exploitative Techniques and Ideological Institutions) which together constitute a particular Mode of Exploitation (a.k.a. The System).
