Mechanisms of Compliance are dynamic processes, psychological operations, and systemic routines that coordinate control over the labour force. They are the '''software of domination'''—how the Means are deployed to shape thought, emotion, and behaviour.

- Panopticism and Self-Policing: The internalization of surveillance, where individuals regulate their own behaviour because they believe they are always being watched, making external force unnecessary.[2]
- Toxic Socialization: The systematic undermining of the Seven Essential Needs—particularly the need for Connection—creating traumatized, dissociated individuals who are easier to control.[3]
- Master Narratives and Authorizing Ideology: The production of overarching stories—meritocracy, divine right, national destiny—that justify hierarchy and frame compliance as moral virtue.[4]
- Reward and Punishment Structures: The distribution of scarce resources, status, and recognition to compliant individuals and groups, while withholding them from resisters.
