Elaboration is a term used by C. G. Jung to refer to the expression and interpretation (or reinterpretation) of Archetypes[1]

Notes

Elaboration does not necessarily lead to an accurate representation of archetypal messages, since bias, self-interest, social class, gender, and so on, can interfere.[2]
