Notes
You can become "attached" to any substance. Any substance that causes pleasure, reduces pain (in any of its forms), provides escape and release, or triggers the release of “feel good” chemicals in the brain (e.g. nicotine, gambling, alcohol, eating, etc.) can easily become an attachment
Substance attachments are not necessarily bad. In fact, they can be healthy. However, normal attachments can, and often do, turn into Toxic Attachments.
