Problem of Ennui

The Problem of Ennui (or Eternal Problem of Ennui) is the ongoing and constantly reemerging problem that we, as Immortal Spirit, have of what to do to keep from getting bored.[1][2]

The problem of ennui, the problem of what to do with yourself when you are immortal, is the primary problem of Consciousness. That is, the only thing Immortal Spirit ever really worries about is how to alleviate the crunching boredom that inevitably attends immortality.
