Notes
According to Ellens, the Master Story is the primary and dominant Existential Narrative of western culture. Also according to Ellens, it is derived from "unconscious metaphors" in the Elite Religious traditions of the Western World, specifically Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.
Note in Ellen's definition how the MS is subsumed under a metaphorical structure. We conceptualize this structure as a Creation Template and point out that a creation template is consciously and intentionally designed to guide and influence human behaviour.
