Notes

Many ARSs exist. The Christian Ten Commandments, the Buddhist Eight Fold Path, and LP admonishments to Right Action, Right Thought, and Right Environment are all alignment rule sets.

The New Testament Colossians contains some alignment guidance. Colossians 4: 18- seems a patriarchal, classist, and sexist ad on uncharacteristic of Christ's egalitarian and antiauthoritarian perspective.

The Qur'an has its own alignment rules sets, what it calls a "covenant." E.g., "Worship none but Allah. treat with kindness your parents and kindred, and orphans and those in need; speak fair to the people; be steadfast in prayer; and practise regular charity." (Qur,an 2: 83-84).
