Signal Emotions are basic emotional responses that serve as immediate indicators of our internal and external states. These emotions are the first layer of our emotional response system and provide quick feedback about our current experience. They are crucial for immediate survival and basic interaction with our environment but do not necessarily guide long-term Alignment like Steering Emotions do.
