A Ritual is a sequence of activities involving gestures, words, and objects, performed in a isolated location, according to set sequence. Rituals are designed to focus in Intent and direct Will towards the accomplishment of a spiritual or creative end.

A ritual is like an Affirmation, but longer and (sometimes) more pretentious, as is the case in some patriarchal Western esoteric traditions.
