Shruti (literally "hearing") is the body of sacred texts compromising the spiritual canon of Hinduism. Shruti are considered to be direct revelations of cosmic Truth and thus of pure and divine origin.
Texts
Sruti literature include the following for four canonical sacred texts or Vedas:[1]
