	Science is a method used to manipulate reality. Science is based on a deterministic approach.		Science is a method used to manipulate reality. Science is based on a deterministic approach. One might state that science is the absolute opposite of magic. However, due to the above considerations, and further considering the definition of magic, I am inclined to deny that claim. The aim of science is to understand and manipulate reality. The aims of science and magic are thus the same. Both use "rules" which the universe is obliged to. What we classically understand with the word magic focuses on the change of more ephemereal realms, waiting for the subsequent emanation into denser reality to take place. Science on the other hand deals directly with denser reality. Up until now, both always had the same aim, but different realms of activity. This might change shortly though.

			This interpretation of the word magic assumes that there is nothing in this world and outside of it, which is not, ultimately, magic. All explanations of the world will not come around the deep truth "as above in consciousness, so below in matter". Or to take a different version of this deep truth, "consciousness follows intent". Regardless of our explanations, the very core of the fabric of consciousness is built on this truth. Hence, everything is magic. It is just a matter of how many "corners" need to be taken in order to manifest something.
	Indirect magic is often associated with Archetypes, but I think it would be more accurate to state that indirect magic is everything which is done with hands and feet, generally with the physical part of the human body. The human body has the ability to be directed directly by the intent of our higher consciousness, via the brain. Neurons are the bridge between the monad and the universe. The brain is functioning as an interface between the monad and this universe. The reason for this seems to be the following: The brain functions via neurons. Neuronal impulses are basically electricity, hence electrons. Electrons are subatomar in scale. To make a long story short, when things go microscopic, the physical rules are slightly different. Potentiality enters the game. The monad is able to gain direct access into this part of the universe (the microscopic one), because the part it accesses is so ephemereal.(electricity) This part may be controled, because it has much less inertia. (less yang more yin, think of the metaphor of the trains). 	Direct magic is, well, direct, instantaneous, literal. There are several ways to instantiate it, but the most common is via visualization. Generally, there seems to be no constraint on the exact form of the ~~"vehicle" one uses~~. Visualization is one way of setting intent into form. Auditory channel is another. It doesn't matter what you do, as long as your intent stays ''focused and persistent''. For most people it is easier with some form of ~~"vehicle" (for a lack of a better word)~~. The fabric of consciousness is subdivided by UC (undifferentiated consciousness (mist/ain), IC intensificated consciousness (monads/ain soph) and EC(emanating consciousness/ain soph aur). When a monad intends something, the UC obliges. This is exactly what we term as magic. There are several ways to instantiate it, but the most common is via visualization. Generally, there seems to be no constraint on the exact form of the intent expressed. Visualization is one way of setting intent into form. Auditory channel is another. It doesn't matter what you do, as long as your intent stays ''focused and persistent''. For most people it is easier with some form of formating practice like visualisations.

Although the control mechanism via archetypes is working around two corners, it is extreemly efficient, because it is persistent. It operates constantly, therefor it is often superior to other control mechanisms. (Persistence trumps.)

Creation from withhin the Universe seems to have two distinct mechanisms of manipulation and control. One is direct and literal, known as Magic. The other is indirect, metaphoric and is known as physics (determination).

When we visualize something, we use magic. It is the most direct way - the initial way - to alter creation.

When we construct something physical for instance, the control mechanism is indirect, because consciousness has to act through a medium (the Physical Unit) in order to fulfil its' wish.
