'''Mechanisms of Record''' (MOR) are, along with [[Mechanisms of Indoctrination]], part of the Institutional Component of [[The System]]. They are the ways in which the internal rules, regulations, more, folkways, ideas, and archetypes of [[The System ]] are passed on to each successive generation.

Mechanisms of record include the written record (think Bible or Koran) and any internal, possibly “secret” word-of-mouth traditions.

Mechanisms of record can be either exoteric or esoteric. Exoteric MOR consists of the record of things (i.e., mores, rules, expectations, etc.) thrown at a mass audience, while esoteric MOR consists of the record of things used “internally,” to train/indoctrinate [[Agents of Consciousness]] and other [[System Agents]].
