Empathogen, generating a state of empathy&amp;quot;, works on emotional or heart level (Metzner, 1998). Most well known empathogen MDMA (E. or Ecstasy). used in what could be classified as shamanic rituals with hundred or thousands (Metzner, 1998). Similiar to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eleusinian_Mysteries but without transcendent experiences. Seen in Matrix movie. &lt;br /&gt;
